De som vill styra och ställa

W. H. Auden:

”The Enemy was and still is the politician, i.e. the person who wants to organise the lives of others and make them toe the line. I can recognise him instantly in any disguise, whether as a civil servant, a bishop, a schoolmaster, or a member of a political party, and I cannot meet him however casually without a feeling of fear and hatred and a longing to see him (or her, for the worst ones are women) publicly humiliated.”
